Arsenal agree deal to sign Sanchez’s replacement
Arsenal have reportedly secured a £44m deal to land Bordeaux forward Malcom.
Brazilian news outlet Goal Brasil has claimed that Gunners are closing in on the marksman, who has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates, where the talisman is believed boss Arsene Wenger’s top pick to replace wantaway goalgetter Alexis Sanchez.
Malcom’s potential move to England was recently fueled after the 20-year-old’s agent took to social media to hint that a deal is in the works, with speculations suggesting that the representative had already agreed on a contract on the Brazilian’s behalf.
Should these rumours pan out, then Arsenal will have dealt both a huge blow and major transfer boost to bitter rivals Manchester United since they will have snapped up a key Red Devils target but inadvertently cleared the way for Sanchez’s move to Old Trafford.
