Ex SC Villa and Western Stima striker Robert Achema has been handed a two year contract while Timothy Otieno who joins from Gor Mahia will be part of the Brewers in the next three seasons. Lawrence Kasadha who previously played for Bandari, KCCA and City Stars joins the defense department on a two year deal.
All the new faces played against Uganda's side KCCA in a friendly staged at Ruaraka and the home side lost 1-0 on January 22nd. Tusker Chief Executive Officer Charles Owiny has welcomed the new contingent and hopes that this season will be greater.
“Welcome once more and good to have you all at Ruaraka. We are looking forward to interacting with you today and throughout the season. We have a new coach and new players on board so for us is to give them time to gel and for the coach ample time to build his team,"
"We are looking forward to a great season after luck was not on our side last season and preparations are already ongoing as you can see. We looking forward to a great upcoming season," Owiny said.
Tusker surrendered the KPL title to KoGalo after a less impressive season that saw the club part ways with head coach George Nsimbe.
