Former KCB striker Valen Mahero is set to join National Super League side Western Stima, weeks after parting ways with the Bankers.

Mahero who has previously played for Nzoia Sugar and SoNy Sugar has been training with the Kisumu based side and is set to sign a contract with the Makumbi coached Power-men.

Stima is on a recruitment spree and it seeks to bounce back to the Kenyan Premier League following its relegation at the end of 2017 season. Mahero will be among the new faces in what is expected to be a new look Stima forward line.

Mahero to Stima

"He is now a Stima player. He has reached an agreement with the club and basically everything is almost 100% done, " a source from Western Stima confided in Futaa.com.

It will be remembered that Mahero was banned by KPL when he doubled signed for Western Stima and SoNy Sugar in 2016. He was later cleared to play for the Millers after Stima backed down.
