The Manchester clubs battle for Barcelona teenager

Manchester United and Manchester City are both interested in signing Barcelona starlet Pablo Moreno – who is just 15-years-old.

The striker has been in searing form for Barca's youth team with 16 goals sending him to the top of the goalscoring charts in his age group. Unsurprisingly, Barca is desperate to cling on to Moreno, who has been labelled a 'killer' in Spain due to his prowess in front of goal. The Nou Camp club is reportedly planning to meet with the player and his agent to discuss a contract which would ward off interest from England.

That is because, according to El Mundo Deportivo, both Manchester United and Manchester City are well aware of the teenager's talent and will attempt to land him as early as this summer.

Now it is down to Barcelona to convince the youngster he should stay instead of linking up with either Pep Guardiola or Jose Mourinho in the Premier League.
