Leopards keen on finishing Fosa task in first round

11 Feb, 13:25

AFC Leopards has made known their intentions of going for an early first round wrap when they host Madagascan outfit Fosa Juniors this Sunday 11 February.

Club secretary general Oscar Igaida while urging fans to turn up and make the 12th man a factor in Sunday tie at Bukhungu, revealed their commitment to proceed past the preliminary stages of the CAF Confederations Cup.

"The friendlies we have played have enable the coach to know his first win and the report we have from the technical bench is they are confident for a win. We are keen for a big margin win and have the second leg as a mere formality. The 12th man is crucial to it and we call upon them to turn out, he said.

The aggregate match winner will proceed from the preliminary stage.
