Cech attacks Lacazette

Arsenal’s Petr Cech has taken a swipe at striker Alexandre Lacazette for the missed chances in the North London Derby, where Arsenal suffered a 1-0 loss.

"In this type of game you need to take your chances, and I know we had two at the end. But unfortunately we did not take them,” said the goalkeeper after the game.

The under-pressure striker first ballooned a volley way over the bar from a Bellerin cross before narrowly missing a one-on-one with Lloris in stoppage time. This might haunt him because the arrival of Aubameyang means he must be at the top of his game or he will be benched, and with such a performance, any manager would bench him.

Arsenal is still sixth.
