Ulinzi goalkeeper bemoans SoNy blip

Ulinzi Stars goalkeeper Jacktone Odhiambo has expressed dissatisfaction over failure to keep a clean sheet in their match against SoNy Sugar.

The Millers continued with their dominance over the Soldiers with a 1-0 win and Odhiambo feels sorry for not keeping a clean sheet especially playing against his former side. The custodian believes that mistakes especially in defense cost them.

“It was a good game from us, I believe, but sometimes there are things we can’t avoid; as a keeper I always want to keep a clean sheet whenever I go out to the pitch and I wanted it more because I was playing against my former team but again this has already happened and we can only lift ourselves from it,” he told the club portal.

Chance Conversion

“The performance was good but I think we need to improve on marking especially in defence and also converting the chances we create, because in the loss we missed very many chances. Against Mathare United we will try working harder and smarter and also pray that God guides us,” he added.

Ulinzi welcomes unbeaten Mathare United at Afraha in KPL match week three.
