BREAKING: Arsenal striker out for 6 weeks

Arsenal’s Alexandre Lacazette has been ruled out of action for up to six weeks after a minor knee surgery.

A statement from the club read: "Striker Alex Lacazette had an arthroscopy on his left knee in London on Tuesday morning. The minor procedure was a success and he will now undergo a period of rehabilitation. It is envisaged that he will return to the squad within four to six weeks."

He last featured against Spurs on Saturday in the NLD where he missed two big chances in the dying minutes of the game.
