Mohammed's injury fears allayed

Ulinzi Stars has moved to quell fears over the injury sustained by defender Mohammed Hassan from the weekend's win over Kakamega Homeboyz at Bukhungu stadium.

Rio who earned his first start in Ulinzi's second win last week against Tusker, suffered a suspected sprained ankle in Saturday clash against Homeboyz though fears of a lengthy lay-off have been allayed by coach Dunstan Nyaudo.

Not bad as thought

"Head coach Dunstan Nyaudo says the injury to Rio is not as bad as initially thought and notes that he may be available for the next clash against Posta Rangers, an update read.

Soldiers next task is against Posta Ranger who remain winless in their previous two league matches.
