CAFCL: Kenyan trio makes Zesco contingent for Asec tie

Zesco United’s Harambee Stars trio of Jesse Were, David Owino, and Anthony Akumu have all got nods for the CAF Champions League return leg tie against ASec Mimosa this Sunday 18th March in Abidjan.

Zesco head into the game in search of a response having lost a crucial cup finale (Charity Shield) to Nkana over the weekend and trailing the Ivorians from a Solomon Sakala own goal in the first leg staged in Ndola.

Traveling squad

Goalkeepers: Jacob Banda, Dieudonne Nthibahezwa.

Defenders:  Simon Silwimba, Bornwell Silengo, Solomon Sakala, David Owino Odhiambo, Fackson Kapumb, Marcel Kasongo Kalonda.

Midfielders: Misheck Chaila, Anthony Akumu Agay, Adams Zikiru, John Chingandu, Lameck Banda, Kondwani Mtonga.

Attackers: Mwelwa Mwape,  Jesse Jackson Were, Lazarous Kambole, Winstone Kalengo.

The team is set to depart for Ivory Coast this Tuesday 13th March.
