Biketi, Mukonza on losing end
Samsung Jawalakhel Youth Club (JYC) three match winning streak in Nepal’s Red Bull A Division National league came to an end on Sunday 8 January after the team fell 2-0 to Laxmi Hyundai Manang Marshyangdi Club (MMC).
The game played at Pokhara, Kaski denied JYC a chance to catch up with leaders Nepal Army atop the league.

On Friday 6 January 2012, Nepal Army hit New Road Team 1-0 to make it four straight wins in the league which is now in the post season, the same day JYC go their third straight win over Mega Three Star Club.
According to Republica Sports MMC´s surprise win ended its two match loss thanks to goals from Nepalese international striker Santosh Sahukhala and another goal from defender Sandip Rai.
Despite the loss, JYC remains second on the log with nine points in three games, three off leaders Nepal Army. With six points, MMC moves from eight to sixth spot
The ten team post season league is made up of the best teams from the regular 18 team league that ended in July.
Each team will play the other once and the team that tops will be crowned Champions.
JYC is home to two Kenyan players; Thomas Biketi formerly of Thika United and AFC Leopards and Gerald Butra Mukonza who turned out for Tusker and Sofapaka. Before landing in Nepal, both turned out for Nationwide side Nairobi Stima.
