Chemelil sugar striker  Philip Muchuma has revealed his readiness to become the player of the month.

Millers have had a good season thrashing Nakumatt 4-1 and previously beating Zoo 2-1 and even leapfrog Mathare United for position two. However, Machuma who played a vital role by scoring a hatrick, believes that despite being in the league for two years through hard work and determination he can grab both the player of the month and also go home with the Golden boot award when the year ends.

 Target

“I had set my target during league kick off to become player of the month before mid season, and also before the year ends I want to bag Golden boot award because it's my second year in the premier league. ‘I expected a hat trick because I was really prepared for it as I trained hard during the week. My main aim is to score more goals and assist during the matches,” said Muchuma.

Chemelil will travel to Ruaraka stadium to face Mathare United who have lost only one game in the Kenya Premier League on March 28th.
