David Silva has labelled Manchester City's recently clinched Premier League title the most special of his illustrious football career.
The midfielder took to twitter following their impressive 3-1 win over Tottenham to celebrate the monumental achievement by posting, "My third league but this one is the most special," he wrote on his official Twitter account. Thanks to everyone for supporting me in this tough year!"
Silva has continued to be an integral part of City's championship team. The playmaker has scored eight goals and assisted another 11 in 27 Premier League apperances this season, proving that he still has something to offer despite being in the twilight years of his career.

Their recently won title marks the Silva's third since joining Manchester Cityfrom Valencia in 2010 - success shared only by City skipper Vincent Kompany. The fete has earned the midfield maestro critical acclaim and a nomination for the PFA Players' Player of the Year award alongside fellow teammate Kevin De Bruyne and Liverpool star Mohamed Salah.
The Spaniard, however, faced more adversity than usual this season since his son Mateo was born prematurely in December and was left fighting for his life as a result, with the veteran often being granted permission to miss games and training in order to spend time with his family in Valencia.
