Vihiga United coach Edward Manoah is satisfied by the point earned by his side in the barren draw against Tusker FC, on Sunday 15th April at Ruaraka Grounds.
The County-Government sponsored side frustrated the struggling 2016 Kenyan Premier League champions and in the end, managed to pick a point away from home, as Tusker registered another disappointing result.
Speaking after the match, Manoah said his side had chances to score especially in the first half, but is happy with the one point his team earned from the match.
“It was a game of two halves – we dominated the first, while the second half belonged to Tusker. I feel we should have at least scored a goal or two in the first half, however, a draw away from home is a good result, it is a point earned for us, “he said.
Vihiga play Nzoia Sugar next at Mumias Sports Complex.
