Thika United head coach Nicholas Muyoti has sounded his approval, for the point gained in the game against Ulinzi Stars on Sunday 15th April at the Afraha Stadium.
Thika United had a slow start to the season, but ended their winless run with a win over Sofapaka in the tenth week of matches, before holding Ulinzi Stars away from home and Muyoti lauded his players for a fine output, especially in defence.
He however noted that his forwards should have made better use of chances they created, but acknowledged he will work on that before the next game.
“A point for me is acceptable because we played the way we should've played and though Ulinzi created good chances, we were able to hold them off. Our defence and our keeper were outstanding, which was good.
“We should have taken more than a point if our attackers were composed but we will work on that,” he said.
Next up for Thika United is a tough encounter, against Gor Mahia at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos on Sunday 22nd April.
