Nyaudo happy with Wamalwa's attitude
After his heroics in the game against Kariobangi Sharks on Sunday, Ulinzi Stars striker Oscar Wamalwa has been praised by the team’s coach Dunstan Nyaudo.
Wamalwa scored the equalizer for Ulinzi in the 88th minute after the team trailed from the 13th minute from Ovella Ochieng’s goal.
Nyaudo praised the forward’s fighting spirit and challenged him to be more consistent as the team prepares to take on Vihiga United in the next game.
“I have always had trust in him and I wish he could be more consistent. Wamalwa is a fighter; I like his attitude and the way he never gives up and I have big plans of using him against Vihiga and against Sharks was just an introduction of what we should expect in the next game,” the coach is quoted as saying on the club's official website.
Against Vihiga, Nyaudo will also be hoping for revenge against the team that beat them 1 – 0 in the first leg and has asked his players to do better in the midfield and attack.
“As we tour Mumias for the game I think we need to see more players coming into the midfield and in striking and have more of the performance we put in in the second half against Sharks,” he added.
