Eagles beat Lusaka dynamos to go third

Two goals from Anos Tembo and amother Lazarus Phiri propelled Choma Green Eagle's to there fourth straight win as they humbled Lusaka dynamos by three goals to nil and leapfrog Nkana into third position.

Prior to the match, The Return Of Mwila Phiri was the main topic but unfortunately he could not play against his former team .

Back to the match itself, Lusaka dynamos started on high but it was Green Eagles who drew first blood through Anos Tembo who found a bit of space in the area before unleashing a low shot beating Moonga Ndala in the Lusaka dynamos goal.

After going up Green Eagles started controlling the match and could have been leading by five goals in the first thirty minutes but Greenwell Whitika missed three clear cut chances.

Lusaka dynamos quickly tried to get back on level terms and was Mousa Lemisa who was leading the chance hitting the post twice after some good link up play with Clatous Chota Chama.

Eagles however doubled their lead in the 34th minute after Lazarus Phiri created space for himself by beating two Lusaka dynamos defender before slotting home.

The match went to the break with Eagles comfortably leading by two goals to nil. In the second Stanza, Lusaka dynamos came back strong but Eagles quickly sealed the win after just 18 minutes, Anos Tembo headed home for his second of the match and Eagle's third, A goal which turned out to be the final nail in the Dynamos coffin.
