Saad eyes National team call up after Ingwe move
AFC Leopards midfielder Saad Musa is targeting to earn a call to the National team after completing a move to the club from Thika United during the mid-season Kenyan Premier League (KPL) transfer window.
The midfielder believes AFC is the right club for him and it can guide him to higher heights in his career.
“AFC Leopards is a big club. I am pleased they were interested in my services and they ensured they signed me. This means they trust me and it gives me confidence that I am at the right place,” Saad told Futaa,
“I am very confident that if I do well at the club I will get called up to the National team and that is my main target – to help the team do well and hopefully earn a call up to Harambee Stars. It is a honour to be in such a big team. I have very talented teammates and that means I can’t be in a comfort zone; I have to work hard.” He added.
The creative midfielder is however yet to feature for Ingwe as he is sidelined by an injury.
“I pulled my hamstring in training and it quite unfortunate that I am yet to play any match for my new team. I have been attending therapy sessions and I will soon be back on the pitch. I can’t wait to be back on the pitch.” He concluded.
Saad joined the Ingwe on a 4-year contract from Thika United.
