Clubs urged to speed up registration process as Beach soccer reveal kick off dates

The 2018-19 Uganda National Beach Soccer League will kick off on Sunday 12th August, UBSA has announced.

While revealing the dates, the chairman Beach Soccer Competitions Committee Anthony Tumwesigye also informed the clubs that the registration period is on and will end July 31st.

He also warned the teams to follow the guidelines set and register within the time given.

“We must comply with set rules if we are to run a well organized league, the process for teams registration is on and will end on 31st July. Teams are encouraged to utilize the time given. The teams that will fail to beat the deadline may be sanctioned or lose their league slots,” Tumwesigye noted.

Venues

The chairman revealed that the association is in the process to approve the venues that will be used next season.

“A number of beaches have submitted their applications to be approved to host beach soccer Competitions. So the venues report will be released in a fortnight.”

The National Beach Soccer League comprises sixteen clubs. Three clubs are demoted at end of the season and three promoted to fill the places.
