Transfer Rumours: Zambian club closing in on Gor Mahia, ex Tusker defenders

Transfer Rumours: Zambian club closing in on Gor Mahia, ex Tusker defenders

18 Jul 2018, 13:55

Reports in Zambia claim that Nkana is eyeing Gor Mahia's fullback Karim Nizigiyimana.

The Burundian is yet to touch a ball since getting injured when playing against Mathare United in a second leg clash at Ruaraka. He has been undergoing rehabilitation and traveled with Gor Mahia to Tanzania for CECAFA Kagame Cup but was not involved in an action.

Eugene Asike to Nkana?

Meanwhile, after his move to Kabwe failed, Eugene Asike is allegedly training with Nkana as he eyes a permanent move if contract talks bear fruits. The former Tusker defender was subject to a move to AFC Leopards but he preferred going to Zambia.

Musa Mohamed recently joined Nkana after a short stint in Albania with KF Tirana. The  Zambian FAZ league has proved attractive to Kenyans and Ugandans. Kenya internationals: Jesse Were, David 'Calabar' Owino, and Anthony Akumu are in Zesco and are first team members. John Mark Makwatta and Clifton Miheso are plying trade with Buildicon. Musa made his Nkana debut against Zesco recently.
