Venue for Posta – Ulinzi game switched
Posta Rangers FC, the hosts in the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) match day 26 clash against Ulinzi Stars have moved the game to Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega.
The match was initially scheduled to be played at the Camp Toyoyo grounds in Nairobi on Saturday 18th August, but Ulinzi Stars, on their official website, have confirmed the change of venue to Kakamega County.
Ulinzi Stars have already played once at the recently refurbished Bukhungu Stadium, and beat Kakamega Homeboyz 1 – 0 and the team’s coach Dunstan Nyaudo is positive despite the change, and says they will be going for the kill.
Okay with change
“We are okay with the change; it is a good pitch and a great stadium and we will be hoping for a good result then,” he said on the club portal.
The two sides played to a 2 – 2 draw in the first leg, which was staged at Afraha Stadium, in Ulinzi’s Nakuru backyard. Rangers played three quarters of the first leg clash with a man down after goalkeeper Patrick Matasi’s early sending off following a clash with Ulinzi striker Masita Masuta.
However, before the Posta clash, Ulinzi Stars have to plan well for the Sony Sugar game, which comes on Sunday 12th August. Ulinzi fell 1 – 0 to Sony Sugar in the first leg.
