Pamzo calls for better defending against Gor Mahia

Posta Rangers head coach Sammy 'Pamzo' Omolo says his team has to defend better on Friday 10th August against Gor Mahia in Kisumu.

Posta will entertain Gor Mahia in Kisumu with the hope of getting a positive result against the league leaders after losing twice to Dylan Kerr's side this season.

Speaking ahead of the match, Omolo labeled the clash tough but draws inspiration from Gor's Tuesday 7th August loss to Bandari in Mombasa.

Difficult game

"It's a very difficult game for us. Our recent run hasn't been very good but we have to approach that game with a positive mentality. Bandari showed that Gor is beatable and that gives us hope," he said.

Gor whipped Posta 5-0 in the first leg before fielding a second string side ousted the Mail-men from the Shield Tournament with a 3-1 whipping and Omolo says his side let in very easy goals in the two games.

"When you look at the goals we conceded against Gor Mahia in the last two games we played against them, they were very cheap goals. Our defending was poor and we surely have to do better on Friday," he added.

The match will kick off at 1600hrs.
