Supersport coach heaps praise on Gampy, Hints on alot of game time

Supersport United coach Kaitano Tembo has heaped praise on Zambian young striker Gamphani Jones 'Gampy' Lungu who made his PSL debut on Wednesday evenning.

Kaitano who is full of praise for the former national Assembly goal poacher described the 19 year old as a young star.

"He is a young star, [turning] 20 years old. He was playing for Power Dynamos in Zambia. We are trying to bring in youngsters with potential," Tembo told Kickoff.com


The 48 year old former Warriors defender revealed that they were trying to convert Lungu into a winger and that we are going to see a lot of him.

"He is actually a striker but we are trying to convert him to a winger. You gonna see a lot from him. He is a quality player. He is typical goal scorer, he scores goals, " He said.

"I am telling you, you are gonna see a lot from him. He is a quality player," he added.

Lungu joined Supersport United at the start of the season following the end of his six month loan spell at Power dynamos from National Assembly. Lungu has already had a feel of the PSL playing the last 17 minutes in Matsatsantsa's 1-0 win over AmaZulu at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Wednesday.
