Italian Serie A side Empoli are looking forward to renegotiate and improve the contract of Ghana midfielder Afriyie Acquah.

Empoli are building a formidable team and according to the club, the best way is to keep all of its good players happy. Acquah since joining Empoli on loan from Torino in the summer has been impressive.

Acquah’s contract will end in June 2019 and this has become a source of worry for the decision-makers of the Serie A outfit who are already considering making a significant new offer.

The energetic middleman earns around 500 thousand euro per season, an agreement that will be discussed again very soon if he continues to impress.

Acquah was named in the Serie A Team of the Week for match day one following his jaw-dropping performance for Empoli in their win over Cagliari.
