West Ham midfielder Jack Wilshere has been ruled out of West Ham's Premier Leagueclash with Everton this weekend with an ankle problem.

The former Arsenal midfielder, who moved across London on a free transfer in the summer, picked up an injury in training during the international break and missed the last two days of training. Wilshere has been placed on a specialist training regime since his move to West Ham in order to manage his long-standing fitness problems.

The severity of the 26-year-old's injury is not yet know and he will undergo tests in the coming days.Striker Javier Hernandez is also unavailable having missed a week of training through illness and has stayed home and away from the group.

The Hammers are still without a point from four Premier League games and will face an Everton side on Sunday without star man Richarlison, who is serving the final game of a three-match ban.
