Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin has resigned as the head coach of Asante Kotoko just seven months after he joined the club.
The experienced trainer joined the porcupine warriors in February of this year and was expected to stay with the club for a year.
According to reports, some board members of the club agitated for his exit which did not go down well with him as he was uncertain regarding his contract which expires in a few months.
The former Inter Allies coach's resignation takes effect today and will not be on the bench for their return leg against AshantiGold at the Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi.
Kotoko will play regional rivals Ashanti Gold in the return leg of their friendly.
