Management of Ghana premier league giants Asante Kotoko SC have denied reports that indicated that the club had reached an agreement with gaffer CK Akunnor to be in charge of the club following the departure of Paa Kwesi Fabin.
According to reports that has been circulating in the Ghanaian media, Kotoko had reached a two-year deal with former Blackstars player CK Akunnor but this according to Sarfo Duku is false.
Sarfo Duku who is the spokesperson for the club said though the club had received applications from several coaches, they were yet to decide on who will be given the job.
“We are in talks with coaches but we haven't settled on anyone yet hence the reports of we signing a two year contract with CK Akunnor is not true,” Lawyer Duku told Happy FM.
“In due time the team will come out with a name of the coach to manage Kotoko after we all agree on the terms and conditions.”
“We need a firm coach that everyone will have confidence in him.”
