Senegal attacker Keita Balde says that the team’s main objective is to perform well and qualify for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Teranga Lions managed to pick four points from a group H that also had Poland, Japana and Columbia.

Senegal hosts Sudan on Saturday in their third group A match of the 2019 AFCON qualifiers.

The striker says that the team has already put the poor performances in Russia behind them as they seek for better fortunes in the continental finals.

“We didn’t achieve our objective at the World Cup, which was to reach the quarter-finals,” the Inter Milan striker said, “but we haven’t got time to cry over spilt milk, and we’ve managed to move on. Now the 2019 Cup of Nations in Cameroon is on the horizon. That must be our major objective now.”

Senegal is joint-top of the group with Madagascar at four points, Equatorial Guinea has three while Sudan has none.
