Ibrahimovic linked with a return to Man United

Ibrahimovic linked with a return to Man United

12 Oct 2018, 08:15

Manchester United is considering bringing back Zlatan Ibrahimovic back to the club during the January transfer window.

According to ESPN, the Red Devils wants Ibrahimovic back on loan in January who left the club for LA Galaxy in March. Mourinho wants a reunion with the LA Galaxy striker due to his forwards being shy in front of the goal. The goals have dried up for Romelu Lukaku, while Alexis Sanchez's form has been much maligned this season.

MLS players are well known for joining Premier League clubs after their season finishes, with Landon Donovan often linking up with Everton. Theirry Henry also rejoined Arsenal on loan from New York Red Bulls.

The 37-year-old has netted 21 goals in 25 appearances since joining LA Galaxy, however, it would be a gamble for Manchester United.

Jose Mourinho is rumoured to be considering a move to take Zlatan Ibrahimovic back to United in January. #mufc [ESPN]
