AFCON Q: Composed Migne, Wanyama hopes for better results against Ethiopia
Harambee coach Sébastien Migné and his captain Victor Wanyama are confident that Kenya will register a positive result on Sunday against Ethiopia.
Kenya fought for a hard-earned 0-0 draw at the Bahir Dar stadium and the duo hopes that Stars will be in a position to see off the challenge presented by the fellow CECAFA Region opponents.
“Of course it was not easy playing at the fully packed stadium. I want to commend my players for giving their best and I am confident that we will get a positive result on Sunday,” Migne told FKF portal.
“The result for us is welcome. I want to congratulate my teammates for their mental strength. We however still have a job to do on Sunday and I’m confident we’ll get a positive result,” Wanyama told the same channel.
With a free entry assured for fans to MISC, Kasarani, FKF president Nick Mwendwa has admitted the federation is planning to ensure fans have a moment of their lives as they cheer on Stars.
“It is not easy playing away from home, so a point for us is welcome. It is good that the Government has granted fans free entry. We are now planning on how we will ensure that fans have the best experience on Sunday,” Mwendwa said.
