Allegri asked about return of Pogba to Juventus

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri was asked about a possible return of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba but refused to comment on the transfer noting it’s useless to talk about it.

Pogba has been subject to a lot of transfer rumors with reports linking him with moves to Barcelona and a return to Italian giants Juventus. The Frenchman has had a frosty relationship with Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho that has led to him being stripped off the vice-captaincy role.

Allegri refused to comment on a possible return to The Old Lady, “Talking about Pogba is useless. Like all players who are not part of Juventus, I cannot and I do not want to talk about players from other teams.”

Ahead of his encounter with Manchester United in the Champions League, Allegri wished he couldn’t have to face his former player, “Pogba is young and still has room for improvement, now he is a player of Manchester and unfortunately on Wednesday we have to meet him. If he does not come it would be better.”
