Nakamba Praised By Zimbabwean Teammate After UCL Performance vs Monaco

07 Nov 2018, 12:45

Club Brugge and Warriors midfielder Marvelous Nakamba drew huge praise from Cape Town City player and international teammate Mathew Rusike after Brugge beat AC Monaco 4-0 last night.

Marvelous Nakamba lived up to his first name when his Belgian club outclassed Thierry Henry’s AC Monaco 4-0 away at its French City-State.

The 24-year-old player has been a regular performer for the Bruges club and delivered that consistency in the big stage of the UEFA Champions League last night.

Former Helsingborg striker and compatriot, Rusike went on his social media to express his warm approval and admiration for Nakamba.

“Marvelous Nakamba. Club Brugge. So good to see this Amazing talent continually grow. WHAT A PLAYER,” Rusike said on his Twitter account.

Nakamba’s next Champions League outing for Blauw-Zwart [Blue-Black] will be away in Germany against Borussia Dortmund.
