The Absa Premiership’s African representatives Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns and Free State Stars have been informed of their CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup opponents.

Chiefs will lock horns with Zanzibar’s Zimamoto, Pirates with Light Stars from the Seychelles, 2016 CAF Champions League champions Sundowns will travel to Equatorial Guinea’s Leones Vegatarianos while Stars go against Rwanda's Mukura Victory Sports.

Each club has also found out its next possible opponent should they leap over the first hurdle. Sundowns may face the winner between FC Nouadibhou (Mauritania) and Ahli Benghazi (Libya). Pirates may play the winner of Volcan do Moroni (Comoros) vs African Stars (Namibia).

Confederation campaigners Chiefs may challenge the winner between El Geco (Madagascar) vs Deportivo Unidad (Egypt) in the first round and Stars could play Al Hilal of Sudan.

The competitions begin on the weekend of 27-28 (1st legs) November and 4-5 December (second legs).
