CAF confederation cup envoys Green Eagles football club concluded their scheduled three friendly games with a win over Botswana defence force (BDF XI).

The Choma out-fit came into the match following a three nil bashing at the hands of Township Rollers.

Eagles started strong and for the first time in three games they went ahead 35 minutes into the match thanks to a Spencer Sautu strike.

BDFXI equalised five minutes into the second half to level matters. New signing George Chaloba put Eagles back in the lead in the 62nd minute, 2-1 the match ended.

Green Eagles starting XI:
Kenneth Mwaanga, Mateo Ndashe, Collins Mulenga, Warren Kunda, Boniface Sunzu, Ceasor Hakaluba, Amity Shamende, Kizito Cheelo, Edward Mwamba, Christopher Chola, Shadreck Mulungwe
