Simba SC’s Belgian head coach Patrick Aussems has shared his delight over the Tanzanian team’s 4-0 win over eSwatini’s Mbabane Swallows in the CAF Champions League Preliminary round game.

The widely traveled 53-year-old took to Twitter to commend his players for sticking to the plan and reminded them to of the long road ahead in the competition.

“I said that we won't come here to defend and protect the result... Players understood the plan very well and made a great performance! Proud of you guys but that's only the first step..” Aussems wrote.

The club known as ‎Wekundu wa Msimbazi will take on Zambia’s Nkana FC in the first round.
