2018 COSAFA U20: Zambia beat DR Congo to stay top of group A

Zambia U20 national team beat DR Congo by two nil to stay top of group A. First half goals from Prince Mumba and Benson Kolala gave Zambia a well deserved two nil victory in a match played at Nkana Stadium.

Coach Charles Bwale made two changes to his starting line up and the two boys who came in Kolala and Mumba to replace Albert Kangwanda and Emmanuel Mwinde paid the coach back with a goal each within 25 minutes to put Zambia in control.

The Young Copper bullets held on to win the match. Zambia has moved to six points at the summit of group A, Two above Mozambique who they face in the final groupA match on Saturday.

In the other Group A match played at Shinde Stadium, Mozambique came from a goal down to hold Malawi 1-1.

Malawi scored first through Peter Banda who netted a beautiful long range strike. Adamo Cassimo Alifa equalised for the young Mambas in the second half.
