Kenyan international Masud Juma came off the bench to score as his side Dibba Al Fujairah earned a draw against Ajman in the United Arab Emirates League Cup on Thursday 20th December.
The result wasn't enough to see Dibba through to the knockout stages of the League Cup as they finished fifth on the log, missing the knockout slots by a single point. After a barren draw in the first half, Dibba were unlucky to fall behind in the 62nd minute when Nashid Qadir Ali put the ball at the back of his own net.
Masud who came on for Khameis Mohamed in the 33rd minute netted in the 81st minute to set up a thrilling finale after being put through on goal by Driss Fettouhi. Dibba couldn't master a win as they exited the League Cup. Attention now shifts to the Arabian Gulf League where Dibba will be looking to free themselves from the shackles of relegation as they sit bottom of the log with four points from 13 games.
