According to various media reports across the football world, it has been officially confirmed that Nigerian striker Chisom Egbuchulam will no longer be playing in Sweden in the forthcoming season.

Egbuchulam is reportedly a free agent after running out of contract at Allsvenskan new boys Falkenbergs FF at the end of the 2018 season.

Falkenbergs FF allegedly did everything in their power in order to extend the 25-year-old's contract going to the extent of offering him a further two-year deal but it was said that the striker had made up his mind about leaving the club.

However, there were claims that IFK Goteborg had expressed interest in signing the player but it was revealed that the 18-time champions had not made the Nigerian star an offer.

According to reports by All Nigerian Soccer, Egbuchalam has reportedly agreed to a two-year deal with an unnamed Asian club and it is only a matter of finalising his documentation before the transfer is made official to the public.

In addition to the transfer reports, it has also been confirmed that he earn approximately US$1.2million (N432million in Nigerian currency) over the duration of his contract and has been assigned a shirt number.

Egbuchalam has managed to tally a total of 14 goals from 26 games over the course of the 2018 season.
