Ethiopian giants drop interest in Gor Mahia midfielder

Ethiopian giants St George SC have reportedly dropped interest in Gor Mahia midfielder Humphrey Mieno.

St George has openly expressed interest in signing the Kenyan International who still has two years left on his Gor Mahia contract but the team's asking price is so high that it has put them off.

Niyonzima

The team has now turned their attention on Rwandan International Ally Niyonzima who plies his trade with AS Kigali.

St George is on a rebuilding process and Head Coach Stewart Hall is a known admirer of Humphrey Mieno having worked with him previously at Azam and Sofapaka.

Kenyan custodian Patrick Matasi joined the team a few months ago and is enjoying a good run with the club that is eager to make a mark locally and continentally.
