KCB FC Head Coach Frank Ouna is confident the team will get better as the league progresses on.
Ouna was speaking after the team settled for a 1-1 draw with Kariobangi Sharks in a Kenyan Premier League (KPL) match played at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.
"It was a balanced match and I think a draw is a fair result. We conceded a cheap goal but fought hard to equalize and even went in search for a winner," Ouna said after the match,
"We were mentally very strong and the boys are now growing into the league. We are now looking for that elusive first win and I believe we shall get better." He added.
Ouna also noted several areas that should be fixed in the team ahead of its upcoming matches.
"We fight very hard to score good goals but also concede cheap goals and that is an area that we really need to fix. We are also a bit slow in our transition and that too needs to be fixed. I believe if we deal with these mistakes we shall get better." He concluded.
KCB is the second bottom in the log with just two points from six matches.
