Alliance FC head coach blasts referee for draw against Mbao
Alliance Football Club head coach Malale Hamisini has blamed referee Ludovick Charles for playing a part in their goalless draw against Mbao FC in the Premier League match on Saturday, January 5 at CCM Kirumba stadium.
Hamsini exclaimed in a post-match interview that the match officials were unfair making his side draw. He accused officials, Charles, Joseph Masija (line 1) and Joseph Pombe (line 2) saying the officials purposefully denied what was supposed to be a penalty in the first half which would've awarded them the much needed three points.
Commenting further on the clash, Malale added that the game was very difficult because they were facing a strong side, he also added that his team's training will resume on January 7 for their next game against Africa Lyon at Uhuru stadium in Dar es Salaam on Friday, January 11. Alliance are currently sitting 14th on the log after accumulating 21 points in 20 games played in total.
The Tanzanian outfit has won five games, lost nine and drawn six of their matches. Mbao are now fifth on the log having garnered 27 points from 20 games. The latter have won six, drawn nine and lost six of their outings.
Mbao FC manager Almas Moshi said his side played well on the day and showed enough passion despite failing to use their chances to their advantage.
Moshi also added that he will push his players during training in order to rectify the elementary mistakes made by the strikers who missed numerous goal opportunities.
Mbao will go head to head against Stand United on January 7 at CCM Kirumba stadium and thereafter will travel to Coast Region to take on JKT Tanzania.
