Kenyan International Abud Omar has parted ways with Belgium top-tier side Cercle Brugge, six months after joining the club on a one-year contract. 

The player is not part of the squad that is currently in Spain for a one-week training camp and has not been training with the team for a while now. 

According to a very reliable source, the player has been released and is currently weighing his options as he has solid offers already. 

Monaco links 

The 26-year old left-back joined Brugge mid last year after parting ways with Bulgarian top-tier side Slavia Sofia. 

Brugge is owned by French moneybags AS Monaco who have several prospects at the club among them left-back Yoann Etienne who is preferred ahead of Abud Omar.
