Ugandan International Mathias Kigonya has expressed his joy and readiness for the challenge after joining Zambian top-tier side Forest Rangers on a two-year deal.
The custodian also thanked his immediate former employers, Kenyan Premier League (KPL) side Kakamega Homeboyz. He joined the team just over a month ago and leaves having not featured in a single match.
"It is time to say goodbye to Kakamega Homeboyz family. It hurts that I did not make an appearance for the team as I left before the league kicked off. It has been an incredible journey since I started playing football - with its highs and lows," Kigonya posted in his official Facebook account.
"Forest Rangers, I come equipped and prepared to face challenges which we have to overcome as a team. I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to my growth." He added.
Kigonya had terminated his contract at Sofapaka prior to joining Kakamega Homeboyz.
