Action for Kamau as Sidney falls to Phoenix in Australia

Kenyan-Australian Bruce Kamau was in action for Western Sidney Wanderers as the team went down 2-3 to Wellington Phoenix in an Australian A-League match played on Tuesday 8th January at the ANZ Stadium in Sidney. 

Louis Ferenc Puskas opened the scoring for Phoenix in the 36th minute but Brendan Hamill levelled matters in the 42nd minute. 

Roy Krishna put Phoenix ahead once again in the 82nd minute but Keanu Baccus equalized just two minutes later. Krishna grabbed the winner a minute to stoppage time. 

Rashid Mahazi 

Another half-Kenyan, Rashid Mahazi, who is also part of the Sidney Wanderers team, was not on the matchday squad. 

After the result, Phoenix is fifth on the log with 19 points from 12 matches while is eight with 9 points having played the same number of matches.
