Kireka United FC to host Kitara in FUFA Big League clash

The FUFA Big League is set to make a return on Wednesday, January as Kireka United look to host Kitara Football Club at Mandela National stadium in Namboole. 

Kitara will go into this game having lost their head coach Edward Golola who made his way back to Vipers Sports Club.

Currently sitting fourth on the table with a tally of 15 points, Kitara will hope to finish at the top to get closer to the top three clubs. 

Kireka United have been reportedly slacking during the ongoing 2018/19 campaign having managed three wins, one loss and five draws and they are in the seventh position with 1o points.

George Ssenkaaba, David Ndihabwe, Alex Kitata, Derrick Tekkwo are reportedly some of the experienced Kitara players that Kireka United have been warned to look out for.

The league will return on Thursday, January 10 with nine matches set to take place.

  • Kira United vs Kiboga Young – Mandela National Stadium, Namboole
  • Proline vs Kabale Sharp – Star Times Stadium, Lugogo – Kampala

Elgon Group:

  • Kataka vs JMC Hippos – CRO Sansiro Stadium, Mbale
  • UPDF vs Nebbi Central – Bombo Army Military Stadium
  • Bukedea Town Council vs Amuka Bright Stars – Emokori Play-ground, Bukedea
  • Kyetume vs Entebbe – Nakisunga Ssaza play-ground, Mukono
  • Wakiso Giants vs Doves All Stars – Kyabazinga Stadium, Bugembe – Jinja
