Chelsea winger Eden Hazard was visibly frustrated by his teammate Marcos Alonso in the 1-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-finals as he told him off for playing him a pass in a tight space.
Hazard was deployed in the striking role with Alvaro Morata injured and despite a good showing in the second half, Chelsea couldn’t find the equalizer. The Belgian lost his cool in the second half after his misunderstanding with Alonso was caught on camera. Alonso urged Hazard to push forward but the Belgian did not speed up and so the Spanish defender was forced to cut the ball back.
