Saudi Arabian Pro League club Al-Hazem have officially announced the signing of Nigerian attacker Kennedy Igboananike after a successful medical.

Igboananike's past club in Sweden, örebro SK, had reportedly wanted to extend his contract but his response was negative, meaning he is joining Al-Hazem as a free agent.

The 29-year old will be on the books of the Saudi Arabian club until the end of the 2019/20 season having initially penned a one-and-a-half-year deal.

Igboananike has previously plied his trade in Djurgarden, Vasulund, Chicago Fire, D.C United and Veria to name a few.

In the 2018 campaign, the Dynamos Football Academy product tallied nine goals in 24 matches in the Swedish Allsvenskan.

Nigeria international strikers Ahmed Musa and Joseph Akpala are on the books of Al Nassr and Al Faisaly respectively.
