Nigerian legends pens new deal with Enfield Town
Isthmian League Premier Division side Enfield Town have confirmed the signing of Nigerian striker Okezie Ibe on reportedly undisclosed terms.
The 36-year-old began his career in England with the youth team of Arsenal in 1993 before leaving to join Bournemouth, where he spent three years.
Enfield Town manager Andy Leese said that he is delighted in the signing and that he is also looking forward to strengthening the squad going forward.
''Kezie has agreed to join us as we look to strengthen the squad," he told the club's official website.
''He is a very experienced player who we know well, and he's keen to come in and play for us while we are light on numbers.
''Kez is aware of the challenge and that his time with us may well be short term, but he is keen to prove himself at the club''.
Ibe has netted approximately 200 goals in over 700 appearances for the English teams he represented in the past.
Basingstoke Town, Canvey Island, Chelmsford City (twice), Ebbsfleet United, Farnborough, Hendon, Staines Town and Egham Town are among the clubs he previously played for.
