Tottenham Hotspurs midfielder Mousa Dembele is believed to have arrived in Hong Kong on Monday to seal a move to Chinese Super League side Guangzhou R&F.
The 31-year-old is out of contract in the summer and Spurs look set to cash in this month; the midfielder has been out with an injury since November 2018.
The Belgium international joined Spurs in 2012 from Fulham and has been a key player in their rise to the top of the English game, making over 200 appearances in all competitions. However, he has been beset by injury problems in recent years.
Spurs are said to be keen on the move to help them recoup the fee paid for the midfielder during his signing instead of losing him for nothing in the summer.
Should Dembele leave, it will leave the North London side short in midfield with both Moussa Sissoko, Eric Dier, and Kenyan international Victor Wanyama both still out of action due to injuries.
