Gor Mahia Head Coach Hassan Oktay is confident the team will do well when they take on New Stars de Doula in a return pre-group stage CAF Confederation Cup tie match in Cameroon on Sunday 20th January.
Gor Mahia beat New Stars 2-1 at Kasarani on Sunday and although they conceded an away goal, Oktay is confident his charges can finish the job on Sunday.
“I believe we did well and I am very optimistic that we will win the second leg. We will go there to dominate and win the game. It is a bit disappointing that we conceded an away goal, but if we can go there and score one or two as well, it will be good for us,” Oktay is quoted as saying by the CAF portal.
The team will, however, have to do without key defenders Joash Onyango and Harun Shakava who have been suspended by CAF for what is termed as unsporting behaviour during the team's away match against Lobi Stars.
